External Insulation Reinforcement Mesh is installed within the base-coat render over thermal insulation boards. It reinforces the render layer and helps reduce the risk of surface cracking. A compatible alkali-resistant mesh should be selected, with appropriate overlaps and detailing according to the insulation system instructions.
